What a process!

The WP1 Dream Team had some nice dives in Arctic kelp forests followed by 3 days of kelp processing and field set-up. Check out our erosion/production tagging procedure.

We had to cover our dining room with a tarp to process samples and get out of the wind. At least our priorities are on point!

We also set up our grazing chains. And we have an ongoing competition for best hat. Clearly Karen is winning.

Near the end of the campaign a massive storm created a pulse of drift into canyons surrounding our study sites. We call these areas 'kelp graveyards'.
